Witam,

piszę plugin do Minecrafta. Niestety, parę dni temu napotkałem problem - dziwny błąd konsoli, który wiesza serwer. Jeśli ktoś wie o co w tym chodzi, to będę wdzięczny za pomoc!

Wspomnę jeszcze, że w tym miejscu plugin ma przywrócić arenę, po zakończeniu minigry. Na razie (jeśli by działało) są to zagnieżdżone pętle for. Ta opcja może obciążać serwer, dlatego wpadłem na inny pomysł, żeby zapisać wprowadzone przez graczy zmiany i przywrócić tylko te bloki (z kopii areny). Czy to jest lepsze rozwiązanie?

Serwer nie odpowiada przez dłużej niż 15 sekund, robisz coś na głównym wątku co jest bardzo obciążające, więc musiałbyś pomyśleć nad innym sposobem wykonania tego zadania

Jeżeli robisz to w tasku to możesz zawsze użyć tasku async, wtedy będziesz wykonywał zadanie na innym wątku, więc serwer nie dostanie laga. Powstanie wtedy jedynie problem taki, że będziesz musiał jakoś sobie zarządzać synchronizacją tych tasków (tzn. zaznaczać sobie, które taski już się skończyły robić). Widzę, że działasz na światach, co chcesz w nich konkretnie zrobić?

Pomysłem moim było stworzenie świata kopii, z którego mógłbym przywrócić arenę na innym świecie do pierwotnego stanu. Chodzi o system przywracający arenę.

Znalazłem sposób, który nie laguje serwera (na razie) - mianowicie zapisywanie zmian wprowadzonych przez graczy do listy, a następnie odczytanie jej i przywrócenie tylko zapisanych elementów. To generuje kolejny problem - bloki takie jak np. bambus bo zniszczeniu dolnego bloku niszczą się całe, a plugin zapisuje tylko dolny blok. W efekcie nie wszystko zostanie przywrócone.

W jaki sposób wydajnie przywrócić arenę (150x150x50) kratek? Czy zagnieżdżone pętle for dla x y z to dobre rozwiązanie? Może wykorzystać task async, o którym mówiłeś? Niestety, nie wiem jak go używać...

Widzę, że próbujesz zrobić regeneracje światów. Przywracanie bloków jest głupie. Lepiej zrobić to tak jak opisuje ten poradnik: 

Jest to znacznie mniej obciążające dla serwera niż regeneracja każdego bloku po kolei forem

Prosiłbym o jakieś dokładniejsze wytłumaczenie, bo nie chcę przepisywać gotwców i na prawdę mało rozumiem o co chodzi. Mowa jest o generowaniu świata void, a za chwilę o tworzeniu światów z folderu "maps". Nie umiem się w tym połapać... Jestem poczatkujący jak już pisałem.

Odnoszę się do poradnika, użyto tam funkcji createWorld, tylko że jeżeli świat z podaną nazwą już istnieje to nie wygeneruje się nowy tylko wczyta podany w nazwie

Tak, dokładnie o to chodzi. Zmiany nie zostaną zapisane. Po załadowaniu świata na nowo nie będzie na nich żadnych zmian.

Z tego co widzę to autor wątku ma Javę 11 (55), więc nie ma mowy o jakiejś starej wersji.

Zresztą, jakby już miał zbyt starą Javę (poniżej 8. (52) wersji) to by zapewne nawet serwera nie włączył, gdyż Minecraft 1.12+ wymaga Javy 8+, a przypominam, że autor ma serwer postawiony na wersji 1.16.5.

Jeżeli natomiast mowa o zbyt nowych wersjach, przecież Java zapewnia kompatybilność wsteczną, więc to co piszesz również nie ma sensu.

Tak więc, jeżeli nie wiesz, to się nie wypowiadaj. Proste.
